Vision

As your elected voice, I want to work for you and with you to:

  1.  Establish what I call City Hall in the Neighborhood. A program that quarterly brings city council, city staff, Los Angeles County Fire Department,  the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Humane Society and California Department of Fish and Wildlife to a different neighborhood each to  quarter. This allows the sharing of information and discussion between the entities and citizens on issues of interest or concern.
  2. To work with the School District and Sheriff's Department to obtain a Traffic Safety Grants from the California Office of Traffic Safety for bicycle, skateboard and pedestrian safety programs for our youth.
  3. Work with  Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department to address potential concerns from the arrival of the Gold Line Light Rail in San Dimas.
  4. Work with Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority to create "Quiet Zones." at no cost to the citizens of San Dimas.
  5. Work with  Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority  to address the potential impact on our community should MTA pursue the concept of double tracking.
  6. Work with the County of Los Angeles, Watershed and Conservation Authority to ensure the Walnut Creek Wilderness Area provides an opportunity for recreational activities without impacting the quality of life residents.
  7. Establish a climate that encourages activities, restaurants, bistros, cafes and other businesses to open in the San Dimas downtown corridor, similar to what La Verne, Covina and Claremont have done.
  8. Establish Community gardens that allow opportunities for senior citizens, families and others to enjoy raising vegetables and flowers.
